Korean Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG
Korean Yu-Gi-Oh! releases are part of the OCG, the same card pool played in Japan and across Asia — not the TCG played in North America and Europe. Card text is printed in Korean, and set codes carry a -KR suffix.
Box configurations differ by product type
Yu-Gi-Oh! does not use one box size the way Pokémon largely does. Three formats cover the current Korean releases.
| Product | Code | Box contents |
|---|---|---|
| Chaos Origins | CORI-KR | 30 packs × 5 cards |
| Limit Over Collection: The Rivals | LOCR-KR | 15 packs × 4 cards |
| Revolution Booster: Toon / Witchcrafter / Unchained | RV01-KR | 15 packs × 5 cards |
Main boosters use the 30 × 5 format. Special collection packs are smaller and priced higher per pack, because the card pool is concentrated. The Revolution Booster line sits between the two — a concept booster built around specific archetypes rather than a broad set.
OCG and TCG are not interchangeable
Cards from the Korean OCG share the OCG card pool and banlist. If you play in a region that uses the TCG, card legality and the forbidden-and-limited list are different. Most buyers here are collectors or OCG players; if you are buying to play, check which format your local events use first.
Release timing
Korean OCG sets follow the Japanese release by roughly two and a half to three and a half months. Chaos Origins reached Japan in April 2026 and Korea in July 2026.
